Huh, looks like I haven't posted in a while. I'm sure you're all disappointed that I'm breaking my non-vow of silence. This not having a computer thing isn't all it's cracked up to be.

So I got promoted at work, due to Colin getting a job elsewhere. It's amazing how things can change. Before Christmas I didn't think I'd still be at my current place of employment, now I'm even enjoying it. Change is good. Although I'm very sad that Colin left, he was a great guy to work with.

I had a scholarship audition last weekend for the Conservatory voice scholarships, and I managed to get one. The bottom one. I got beaten out by a 15-year old. Am I good, or am I good? I'm also bitter. But hey, money is money. And I put a lot of effort in during the last couple weeks, I know I've been doing a lot better lately. I seem to have figured out how to sing again. It's nice for a change.

That sucks about being beaten by a 15-year-old. Once, at a Star Trek convention, there was a 15-year-old twerp who thought he knew everything about Captain Kirk. I tried to outdo him, but these other people were like, “Let the kid talk!” It sucked because I’m twice as old as him and people would rather listen to him. That pissed me off!

Congratulations on the scholarship, but don't let that nasty little girl bother you. Just kick her in the shins.
